Job Description:Job Details Job Number: 25187447 Job Category: Sales & Marketing Location: Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre, Airport Road, Dubai, United Arab Emirates Schedule: Full-Time Remote Work: No Position Type: Non-Management Position Summary This position is responsible for providing exceptional guest service and support to the Sales & Marketing team. Responsibilities include: Addressing and resolving guest inquiries, requests, and issues by contacting appropriate individuals or departments (e.g., Sales, Data Administration, Accounting). Employing sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty to Marriott, including up-selling strategies. Determining and administering complimentary items to guests as recognition for their patronage (e.g., rewards points, show tickets, gift certificates). Promoting brand awareness both internally and externally. Processing requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points. Handling all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail. Accurately entering Marriott Rewards information into the appropriate software system when taking guest reservations. Answering, recording, and processing all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns. Performing general office duties to support Sales & Marketing, including filing, sending emails, typing, and faxing. Assisting management in training and motivating employees, serving as a positive role model. Adhering to all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, and protecting company assets. Welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs, and expressing genuine appreciation. Communicating clearly and professionally, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately and completely, and answering telephones using appropriate etiquette. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting the team to achieve common goals, and actively listening and responding to the concerns of other employees. Monitoring the performance of others to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Reading and visually verifying information in a variety of formats. Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. Preferred Qualifications Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Related Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related work experience. Supervisory Experience: Not Required. License or Certification: None.
