Job Description:
Core Banking Specialist (ETHIX – ITS)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced with strong ETHIX Core Banking expertise (ITS platform) to support and enhance critical banking applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in CASA, Term Deposits, End-of-Day (EOD) processing, and production support, along with strong technical skills in .NET technologies and database systems.
This role involves incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and system stabilization in a live banking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L3 production support for ETHIX Core Banking applications
Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and issue resolution in live environments
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes
Manage and support End-of-Day (EOD) processing, batch jobs, reruns, and failure resolution
Work on CASA (Current & Savings Accounts) and Term Deposit (TD) modules
Resolve transaction posting issues, reconciliation mismatches, and balancing discrepancies
Analyze accounting entries and General Ledger (GL) impacts
Support and troubleshoot Standing Orders processing
Collaborate with business and functional teams to understand requirements and issues
Ensure system stability, performance, and availability
Participate in code fixes, enhancements, and deployments
Required Skills & Experience:
Core Banking
Strong experience with ETHIX Core Banking (ITS platform)
Hands-on experience in CASA, Term Deposits, and EOD processing
Good understanding of banking operations and transaction lifecycle
Technical Skills
Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API
Strong database experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or Sybase
Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and production issue resolution
Support & Operations
Experience in production support (L3 level)
Strong skills in incident management and RCA
Exposure to batch processing and job scheduling
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of CIF/KYC processes and downstream system impact
Experience working in banking or financial services domain
Familiarity with DevOps / CI-CD pipelines
Experience Required:
10+ years of IT experience with 7 yrs of core banking Ethix experience
