**Position: Estimation Manager**

**Role Summary:**

The company seeks a seasoned and innovative Estimation Manager to direct tendering activities for projects within the oil and gas, power, and infrastructure industries. The successful candidate will demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the construction sector, possess robust analytical capabilities, maintain an established network of vendors and subcontractors, and exhibit practical proficiency with contemporary estimation software and platforms.

**Principal Responsibilities:**

* Oversee the complete estimation and bid preparation lifecycle for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects, as well as maintenance and construction and maintenance endeavors.
* Thoroughly review tender documentation and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to formulate effective bid strategies aimed at securing project awards.
* Conduct detailed analyses of costs, materials, labor expenses, and subcontractor rates to ensure precise and competitive pricing structures.
* Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and operations departments to consolidate essential technical and commercial data.
* Negotiate and finalize pricing agreements with vendors and subcontractors to improve overall bid competitiveness.
* Perform comprehensive risk assessments and identify potential areas for cost optimization and margin enhancement.
* Maintain and regularly update a comprehensive database encompassing costs, supplier information, and historical project data.
* Present well-defined bid strategies and final submission packages to senior management for review and approval.
* Continuously monitor industry trends, evolving client requirements, and prevailing market pricing standards.

**Essential Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related discipline is required.
* A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in cost estimation, tendering, or proposal management within the energy, oil and gas, or power construction sectors is essential.
* Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing current estimation and bidding software/platforms (e.g., Candy, CCS, PlanSwift, CostOS, Oracle Primavera) is mandatory.
* A verifiable track record of developing innovative and cost-effective bid proposals is required.
* Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
* Familiarity with both local and international tendering practices and established procurement models (FIDIC, EPC, etc.) is necessary.
* Substantial experience working on multi-disciplinary construction and maintenance projects is a prerequisite.
