The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Support Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive functional support, performing diligent troubleshooting, and driving continuous improvement initiatives for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations modules. This position serves as a crucial liaison between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring optimal system stability, maximizing user satisfaction, and maintaining alignment with overarching operational objectives.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing daily functional support to D365 F&O users across finance, supply chain, and operations modules.
* Troubleshooting and resolving functional issues, escalating to technical teams as required.
* Analyzing business processes and recommending improvements leveraging D365 F&O functionalities.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to elicit requirements and implement system enhancements.
* Supporting testing activities, encompassing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and batch validation.
* Maintaining thorough system documentation, including process flows, configuration logs, and training materials.
* Conducting end-user training and providing guidance on best practices.
* Monitoring system performance and proactively identifying potential issues.
* Assisting with data migration, integration validation, and reporting requirements.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field.
- Fresh graduate or 1+ years of experience in a functional support or consulting role with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or Dynamics AX.
- good understanding of core F&O modules such as:
- General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets
- Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory Management, Production
- Experience with system configuration, workflows, and personalization.
- Familiarity with LCS (Lifecycle Services), Azure DevOps, and Power Platform tools is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work in teamwork and collaboratively
- Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach
- Adaptable to changing priorities and business needs
