In this role, the Entrepreneur in Residence will collaborate closely with our founders and venture team to validate, develop, and potentially launch new ventures within The Flex ecosystem. This represents a unique opportunity to lead the development of a new business from inception, supported by comprehensive resources, mentorship, and capital investment. The ideal candidate will possess a founder-oriented mindset, demonstrating the ability to rapidly iterate on concepts, build Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), engage with potential customers, and assume full ownership of a new business line or spinout venture.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Collaborate with The Flex Ventures team to identify and validate promising business opportunities.
* Conduct thorough customer discovery, market research, and competitive analysis.
* Develop and test MVPs or no-code prototypes to assess market traction.
* Formulate robust business models, go-to-market strategies, and comprehensive execution plans.
* Manage the day-to-day operations of nascent concepts, with the potential to assume the role of CEO upon successful spinout.
* Collaborate effectively with internal design, product, and growth teams.
* Employ an iterative approach to development, adapting strategies as needed, and scaling successful initiatives.

**Qualifications:**

* A builder mindset with a demonstrated capacity for rapid execution.
* Prior experience as a founder or operator is preferred; unsuccessful startup ventures are viewed favorably, acknowledging the value of gained experience.
* Strong intuition regarding product development, market dynamics, and customer needs.
* Experience in proptech, real estate, consumer technology, or marketplace environments is advantageous.
* Data-driven approach, coupled with the ability to make informed decisions in situations with incomplete information.
