It is an exciting time to work in the field of AI to create a long-lasting impact.About The RoleWe are seeking a high-performance Engineering Manager with proven experience to lead a brand new Agentic AI Squad of Engineers/data scientists building Agentic AI capabilites at the core of all our tools.What You’ll DoAs an Engineering Manager, your daily workload might include:Hire, lead, mentor, and manage the best in class group of product Engineers, to build the best in class products within the Anti Money Laundering /Anti-Fraud space, cultivating collaboration and innovation.Provide guidance, conduct performance reviews, and support career development for engineers.Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of our SaaS product, with Agentic AI front and centre, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.Collaborate with other stakeholders to create engineering objectives for your team that align with business goals.Work closely with product teams to help steer both the functional and technical roadmap with focus on the end userDrive scalable architecture and design solutions, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability of the SaaS product.Ensure best practices for coding, security, testing, and performance optimisation are followed.Stay updated with domain trends, technologies, promote its adoption across the tech stack and development process to drive innovation and efficiencyDevelop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for your engineering team that empowers them to be high performing.QualificationsBS/MS from a top school in Computer Science or any related field.12+ years of software engineering experience, of which 5+ years managing teams, preferable B2B SaaS software.Proven track record of managing and scaling cross functional engineering teams at speedProven experience of creating a culture of data driven decision makingProven experience in collaborating in an organisational unit of several independent engineering teams.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Proven expertise in architecting and managing large-scale, complex distributed software systems.Previous experience in AML or Fraud or Banking (Nice to have).Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks, multi-agent architectures, or conversational AI pipelines.
