**Position Summary:**

The incumbent is responsible for the efficient creation, implementation, and monitoring of project planning activities, ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and quality standards to facilitate the achievement of departmental operational plans and strategic objectives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* **Policies and Procedures:** Ensure compliance with relevant policies and guidelines to establish effective cost control and scheduling practices within the organization.
* **Project Scheduling:** Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including baseline, revised, and recovery schedules, in accordance with industry best practices. Create project schedules, work breakdown structures, and weightages aligned with Alfanar planning manuals for effective monitoring and control. Proactively maintain and update detailed project schedules and forecasting reports, leveraging trend analysis throughout the project lifecycle to identify potential risks and ensure project health.
* **Project Budgeting:** Develop and maintain detailed project cash flow and forecasting reports based on trend analysis throughout the project lifecycle. Establish project cost structures and breakdowns (Tender budget) within SAP to ensure the effective implementation of cost control procedures. Conduct reconciliation and analysis of project budget revisions in close collaboration with the Finance department, providing consultative expertise for the verification of estimates (Actual Cost, Plan POC, Actual POC, etc.).
* **Project Reporting:** Analyze project schedule and cost reports, establishing reporting frequency for project stakeholders based on the criticality of deliverables on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
* **Human Resources Proficiency:** Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development by acquiring updated soft and technical skills relevant to the role. Develop a clear vision and plan for career advancement.
* **Delivery:** Execute planned activities to achieve operational and development targets according to established delivery schedules. Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within defined cost and time constraints. Provide periodic reports detailing deviations from planned tasks and execution progress.
* **Problem-Solving:** Address and resolve any related problems that arise, escalating complex operational issues as appropriate.
* **Quality Assurance:** Ensure adherence to quality requirements to develop effective quality control processes, including specifications for products, processes, or related activities.
* **Business Process Improvement:** Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, and seek opportunities for automation wherever feasible.
* **Compliance:** Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
* **Health, Safety, and Environment:** Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and the delivery of high-quality products/services.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
