Ciel Dubai Marina, a flagship development of The First Group and a member of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ Vignette Collection, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Team Leader. As the world’s tallest hotel, Ciel Dubai Marina offers an unparalleled hospitality experience defined by 1,004 elegantly appointed guestrooms, eight exceptional dining venues, three outdoor swimming pools, and breathtaking panoramic views.

**Position Summary:**

The Electrical Team Leader is responsible for the supervision, coordination, and execution of all electrical maintenance and repair activities across the property. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all electrical systems and equipment, adhering to relevant codes and standards. The position requires a combination of hands-on technical expertise, leadership skills, and effective collaboration with other departments to maintain seamless property operations and a safe environment for guests, staff, and contractors.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Supervise and provide technical guidance to a team of electricians and technicians in the maintenance and repair of all electrical systems.
* Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical panels, distribution boards, lighting systems, power sockets, and control systems.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, coordinating prompt and effective repairs.
* Ensure strict adherence to local electrical codes, safety regulations, and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and repair logs.
* Monitor energy consumption and contribute to the implementation of energy-saving initiatives.
* Collaborate with other trades (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) to address and resolve cross-functional maintenance issues efficiently.
* Support electrical work related to renovations, installations, and project upgrades as required.
* Provide technical training and mentorship to junior staff members to enhance their skills and professional development.
* Enforce rigorous safety procedures and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during all electrical work.
* Assist the Engineering Manager in the preparation of maintenance reports and inventory requests.
* Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls, ensuring timely resolution of electrical issues.

**Qualifications:**

* Diploma or technical certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
* Possession of a valid electrical license, as mandated by local regulations, is essential.
* Additional certifications in safety (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) are considered advantageous.

**Experience:**

* A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within the hospitality or real estate sector, is required.
* A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity is essential.

**Technical Skills:**

* Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including Low Voltage (LV) distribution, lighting, backup power systems (generators/UPS), and control systems.
* Proficiency in the use of electrical testing and diagnostic equipment is essential.
* Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is required.
