Job Description:**Maintenance and Automation Engineering Responsibilities:**

This position encompasses a range of responsibilities related to the maintenance and optimization of electrical and automation systems. Key duties include the execution, supervision, and enhancement of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules for all electrical machinery, panels, control systems, and automation components, such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and sensors. Timely corrective maintenance (CM) and troubleshooting of electrical faults, breakdowns, and automation system malfunctions are crucial to minimizing downtime. This includes diagnosing and resolving issues related to electrical circuits, motor controls, power distribution systems, instrumentation, and control loops.

Furthermore, the role involves the programming, configuration, and troubleshooting of PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs from various manufacturers (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric). Optimization of existing automation programs and control logic is required to enhance machine performance, reduce energy consumption, and improve safety. Support for the integration of new automation technologies and systems into existing production lines is also expected.

A critical aspect of the position is the performance of in-depth root cause analysis for recurring electrical and automation failures, enabling the implementation of long-term solutions. This analysis utilizes electrical schematics, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and control logic diagrams for effective troubleshooting.

Finally, the role provides technical support during the installation, commissioning, and startup of new electrical equipment and automation systems, ensuring proper wiring, calibration, and configuration of new components.
