Human by nature.EH&S ManagerPurposeDirect and support all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) functions at Dubai site and some satellite offices in the region, ensuring compliance with Givaudan processes, and regulatory standards. You’ll promote cultural change by managing risk, promoting safety awareness, and advocating EHS as a core line responsibility across the site. You will balance hands-on compliance management with strategic agreement to global and local EHS programs. You will be a coach, trainer, and advisor while leading programs that safeguard employees, increase site operations, and build relationships with regulatory agencies and team members.Core Responsibilities EHS leadership and strategy:Lead the implementation and continual improvement of EHS systems, processes, and culture.Advise management on EHS matters, ensuring alignment with business goals and legal and internal requirements.Stay updated on evolving EHS regulations, standards, and best practices. Risk management and compliance:Conduct and lead risk assessments (PRA, PSSR, Ergo) and ensure timely implementation of controls.Oversee compliance with all statutory EHS requirements. Ensure timely submission of regulatory documentation and maintain records.Monitor hazardous waste management, industrial hygiene for hazardous chemicals, and environmental parameters. System implementation, audits, and inspections:Should be conversant with RCMS System.Ensure compliance with all EHS legal requirements and maintain accurate records.Conduct internal EHS audits and Gemba Walks. Coordinate with external auditors as required. Emergency preparedness and response:Develop, review, and maintain the Site Emergency Plan; conduct regular mock drills.Ensure adequate numbers of trained Firefighters and First Aiders on-site. Incident management and CAPA:Promote near-miss and EHS contact reporting and ensure robust investigation of incidents.Track and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to closure.Analyse incident and near-miss trends to identify areas for improvement. Training, awareness, and culture buildingPrepare and implement annual EHS training calendar for employees, contractors, and visitors.Deliver awareness sessions and training’s relevant to commercial offices and laboratories setup. Coordinate for skill-based training to employees through competent agencies.Organize EHS events and campaigns to strengthen safety culture.Form and lead the EHS Committee, ensuring effective follow-up on meeting outcomes. Resource and equipment management:Ensure the selection, provision, and availability of appropriate PPE across the site.Prepare purchase requests and service contracts for EHS-related supplies and equipment. Reporting:Ensure that regular EHS and sustainability reporting cycles are conducted on time with punctual data. Team development and collaborationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into daily operations.Support Company Manager in implementing strategic initiatives.Professional ExperienceAt least 5 years of working experience in the field of EHS at Flavour and/or Fragrance, or / Specialty Chemical premises.Knowledge of EHS national and international standards inclusive on fire safety as well..Working knowledge using EHS IT tools and how those tools integrate into other functional work processes.Ability to influence strategic deliverables in a widely matrixed organization.Available to travel in the region.Academic BackgroundBachelor of Chemical / Environmental Engineering or M. Sc.
