Job Description
A Reputable Company located in Beirut is seeking to recruit an Economic Research and Analysis Officer.
Main Duties:
- Collect and monitor updated news on government and legislation decisions taking place, taxes, customs, public budget, and other economic matters.
- Analyze the impact of these updates on the private sector and the business community at large.
- Provide biweekly summaries of economic news and analysis.
- Follow up on contingent and emergency matters in the economy and alerting of any significant developments.
- Collaborate with the head of the Economic Committee to provide input and recommendations on economic policy matters.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or any relevant field.
- 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven working experience with public policy research and analysis.
- Familiarity with government and legislation decisions, taxes, customs, public budget, and other economic matters.
- Familiarity with the private sector activity.
- Strong analytical and writing skills, with a track report in reporting.
- Strong communication skills.
- Fluency in Arabic is a must.
