The successful candidate will spearhead our revenue growth strategies, enhance our brand visibility, and drive customer engagement in this dynamic market.Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to maximise revenue, occupancy rates, and market shareLead and mentor a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovationAnalyse market trends, competitor activities, and guest preferences to inform strategic decision-making and capitalise on emerging opportunitiesManage the sales, marketing, and distribution budget effectively, ensuring optimal return on investmentCultivate and maintain relationships with key corporate, MICE, and leisure accounts to secure new business and achieve sales targetsOversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that align with our brand standards and resonate with our target audienceDirect the digital marketing strategy, including website optimisation, social media presence, and online advertising initiativesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance guest experiences and strengthen customer loyaltyRepresent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and presentations to drive customer engagement and brand awarenessMonitor and analyse sales and marketing performance through regular reporting and KPI trackingEnsure all sales and marketing initiatives are culturally sensitive and appropriate for the local market in MakkahQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Hospitality, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years’ experience in a luxury hospitality sales and/or marketing role, with demonstrated leadership and strategic acumenProven track record of driving revenue growth and optimising market share in the hospitality industryStrong understanding of the luxury hospitality market, preferably with knowledge of the Middle Eastern marketExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and translate insights into actionable strategiesProficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and digital marketing platformsOutstanding leadership abilities with experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teamsExceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levelsStrong negotiation skills and the ability to close high-value dealsIn-depth knowledge of revenue management principles and practicesInnovative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiencesCultural sensitivity and awareness, particularly in relation to the unique aspects of operating in MakkahFluency in English required; Arabic language skills highly advantageousAdditional InformationYour Team And Working EnvironmentIn 1-2 sentences, introduce the team, property or office environment in a way that reflects the cultureNote: Customization may be included for any specific local or legislative requirements, such as work permits
