Job Description:**Job Posting: Custody Operations Specialist**

J.P. Morgan is seeking a qualified Custody Operations Specialist to contribute to our Direct Custody and Clearing Operations team. The successful candidate will possess proven experience within the local securities market of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and will support the implementation of new strategic initiatives. This role offers opportunities for professional development, including the potential to lead the operations team responsible for ongoing business support in the future.

As an integral member of the Operations team, the Custody Operations Specialist will leverage their skills and experience to drive process improvements and maintain an efficient and controlled operating model. Key responsibilities include:

* Defining and managing the operational model for custody trade operations, ensuring effective and efficient process delivery.
* Determining technology requirements and establishing robust business processes to support new business initiatives.
* Providing comprehensive processing support for various instruments, including Equities, Government Securities (G-Sec), and Corporate Bonds, ensuring timely settlement and accurate regulatory reporting.
* Executing error-free operations, identifying and escalating exceptions across all relevant processes, encompassing pre-trade activity, trade capture, affirmation, brokerage, and settlement.
* Demonstrating proficiency in SWIFT messaging protocols.
* Providing first-level supervision in the day-to-day management of business deliverables and ensuring timely responses to client inquiries.
* Adhering to all firm policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Exhibiting effective communication skills with key internal and external market participants.

**Required Qualifications:**

* Possession of a valid CMA certification.
* Minimum of one year of trade settlement custody experience within the KSA market.
* Thorough operational knowledge and understanding of KSA Tadawul systems.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize workloads and meet critical deadlines.
* Exemplary integrity and a commitment to open and honest interaction.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with a strong emphasis on MS Excel.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* A bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic qualification is preferred.
