**ROLE SUMMARY**

The Deputy Store Manager is responsible for leading the store team in delivering exceptional customer service through a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, awareness of prevailing market trends, and knowledge of competitor activities. Key responsibilities include:

* Ensuring the professional and timely resolution of customer complaints, escalating issues to management as necessary.
* Cultivating and maintaining professional relationships with support teams, providing regular and pertinent feedback to Marketing, Buying, and Planning departments.
* Providing continuous coaching and mentorship to team members to facilitate skill development and recognize high-potential individuals, while fostering enthusiasm and commitment.
* Driving sales performance and proactively seeking opportunities to enhance sales and improve business outcomes through a thorough understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Managing and implementing all sales promotions and brand activities, ensuring effective communication with relevant support teams to maximize sales potential.
* Monitoring staff performance and identifying commercial opportunities to surpass sales targets.
* Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of current performance trends through the analysis of available business reports.
* Optimizing sales opportunities through clear and consistent communication with the Buying and Planning departments.
* Ensuring the smooth operation of the store in the absence of the Store Manager, addressing any potential disruptions to business activities in a timely manner.
* Implementing, managing, and maintaining compliance with Company policies and guidelines to minimize stock loss and damage.
* Liaising with the Excellence and Compliance team to prepare and execute stock takes in accordance with Company policy.
* Ensuring that Visual Merchandising (VM) standards adhere to brand and Company guidelines at all times.
* Maintaining store standards, including cleanliness, tidiness, and replenishment.
* Ensuring adherence to all Company Health & Safety, Security, and Compliance policies, promptly reporting any concerns to the Excellence and Compliance team.

*Fashion industry experience is required.*
