A Demi Chef de Partie is responsible for the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, ensuring an exceptional Guest and Member experience, while contributing to food cost management. This position requires adherence to company guidelines in maintaining a clean and organized workspace, preventing cross-contamination, and preparing mis-en-place for all relevant menus. The Demi Chef de Partie will also address guest inquiries promptly and efficiently, ensure proper storage and quality of food items, contribute to cost control measures, assist other departments as needed, and report any maintenance, hygiene, or hazard issues. Compliance with hotel security, fire regulations, health and safety legislation, and food safety standards is mandatory. Candidates should possess a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team under pressure. A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and NVQ Level 2 are required, while NVQ Level 3 and previous kitchen experience in a similar role are advantageous.
