Job DescriptionOrganization Unit PurposeThe Data Analytics unit translates data into actionable insights and visualizations.The unit provides data support for key strategic and organizational transformation projects including business insights to business leaders. The unit strives to automate data extracts, reports, and dashboards to the fullest extent possible.Team manages Product, Governance, Solutions, BI and Analytics.Job PurposeThe Data Officer plays a vital role in our organization’s data governance and strategy. The job holder will be responsible for overseeing data quality, security, and accessibility, while also promoting a data-driven culture across the company.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security. Manage data classification schemes and ensure data is classified and handled appropriately. Oversee the creation and maintenance of data dictionaries and metadata standards. Implement data quality control measures and monitor data integrity throughout its lifecycle. Collaborate with IT to ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations. Analyze data needs across various departments and develop strategies to meet those needs. Identify opportunities to leverage data for improved decision-making and business processes. Work with data analysts and data scientists to support data-driven initiatives. Oversee or participate in data collection, cleaning, and transformation activities. Foster a data-driven culture by promoting data literacy and awareness among employees. Develop and deliver training programs on data governance, access, and best practices. Collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and challenges. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences about data-related conceptsBuild and maintain strong relationships with Business Units and data consumer community to understand their objectives and priorities. Regular quantification of business value generated because of service request & data initiatives; and proactively publish the results. Strong collaboration with all Stakeholders for successful implementation of various projects and requestsEnsure accurate data is available on timely basis in a central repository in a consistent and non-redundant form for the use of analytics operationsPerson Specifications: Candidate must be UAE NationalCandidate must have 3years of experience in data management, data governance, or a similar roleExperience working with data governance principles and best practices, data control measures and analysis techniques. Candidate must have Exposure to Banking DomainCandidate must be skilled in Data Management Tools and Technologies (Data Warehousing, Data Cataloging)Candidate must have Excellent Communication, Collaboration, and Interpersonal Skills. Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team.
