**Data Analyst Opportunity (Bangkok, Thailand – Relocation Assistance Provided)**

Agoda seeks a Data Analyst to report directly to the Senior Manager or Associate Director within the Product Department, functioning as an individual contributor responsible for collaborating with on-the-ground partners. Supported by a dedicated team within the Product department and working in conjunction with other Agoda team members, the Data Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring data consistency for reporting purposes, identifying value-added data to facilitate business growth, and utilizing data-driven insights to inform strategic business decisions. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct in-depth data analysis to provide actionable business intelligence, guide decision-making processes, and contribute valuable input to the further development of Agoda’s business model.

**Responsibilities:**

* Translate broad business requirements into well-defined analytical projects by clarifying objectives, defining key performance indicators, and outlining specific deliverables.
* Analyze large and complex datasets to generate clear, actionable insights and provide data-backed recommendations to key stakeholders.
* Conduct comprehensive analyses of customer behavior and language performance to identify opportunities for growth and optimize user journey pathways.
* Support translation automation initiatives and machine translation (MT)/artificial intelligence (AI) translation workflows.
* Launch data-driven initiatives, develop interactive dashboards, and automate processes to enhance operational efficiency.
* Lead new analytical projects designed to streamline workflows, improve reporting accuracy, and drive overall organizational efficiency.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or Economics.
* Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data analysis, data transformation, and automation tasks.
* Demonstrated expertise in data visualization tools, including Tableau, Power BI, or Metabase, for the creation of interactive and insightful dashboards.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, coupled with experience in A/B testing methodologies and experimental analysis.
* Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong emphasis on data accuracy and data quality assurance.
* Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences and collaborate successfully across multiple teams.
