The Dark Store Manager is responsible for the comprehensive oversight and efficient operation of a dark store, a critical component of Breadfast’s end-to-end supply chain. This demanding, hands-on position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including operational management, customer experience optimization, service level maintenance, quality assurance, financial oversight, and talent development for the entire dark store team. The incumbent will be tasked with:
* Overseeing daily dark store operations to ensure customer order fulfillment at established service level targets.
* Managing last-mile delivery operations, including fleet optimization and dispatch assignments.
* Maintaining comprehensive inventory control for all on-site stock.
* Developing and refining storage, handling, and order fulfillment processes to maximize efficiency.
* Managing the dark store’s financial performance, including cost optimization initiatives and unit economics analysis.
* Ensuring adherence to all safety and quality compliance standards within the premises.
* Creating and implementing a comprehensive talent development program for all operations and last-mile delivery personnel within the dark store organization.
