DAM construction manager (Lake Liner – Waterproofing) needed working for a global construction main contractor.
The company is the product of 117 years of engineering experience within 5 continents and 85,000 employes (100 nationalities). A leading global player in the construction of large, complex projects for sustainable mobility (rail, metro, bridges, roads, ports), hydropower (dams, power plants), water (treatment and desalination plants, wastewater management, irrigation dams) and green buildings (civil and industrial buildings, airports, stadiums, hospitals).
THE PROJECT is valued at US$4.7 billion, this project is One of the niche DAM mega-projects in Middle East/ GCC and a global one of a kind infrastructure project. The project involves construction of 3 dams in addition to other works. Over 10,000 individuals, including both direct and third-party personnel, are expected to participate in the construction efforts. A brief snapshot:
- Construction of 3 DAMS
- Main Dam will be 150M height and 500M at crest.
- 2.7 Million m³ of RCC (Roller Compact Concrete).
Skills
- Min 20 years of direct DAM CONSTRUCTION experience
- Delivered major DAM/River/Lake shores by bituminous mix or with bituminous/asphalt for waterproofing.
- Proven track record of successfully overseeing and delivering large-scale DAM construction projects.
- Experience working for main contractors
- Previous experience on a $250 million + project
- Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- In charge of overseeing and coordinating all stages of construction projects, from inception to delivery.
- Ability to deliver projects on-time, within financial constraints, and strict adherence to safety guidelines.
- Your oversight of quality control measures will be instrumental in upholding industry standards and regulations.
- Engage in close collaboration with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to craft detailed project plans.
- Schedules, effectively assigning tasks and responsibilities to the appropriate stakeholder team members.
