The incumbent is responsible for: overseeing the preparation and analysis of cost reports and costing audits, identifying and examining cost discrepancies; monitoring cost control in conjunction with Line of Business heads and providing monthly financial statements; managing the monthly cost accounting closing process to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of inventory and cost of sales accounts; preparing daily and monthly operational reports on sales and other key performance indicators; monitoring project progress; preparing monthly forecasts and contributing to the annual budget process; ensuring the proper closure of financial statements for periodic audits; following up with the accounting team regarding items to be invoiced and pending invoices; performing monthly closing activities, including the preparation of the cost-to-operate statement with the support of the analysis team; and collaborating with the Accounting Manager in the development and maintenance of standard costs.
