Cost Accountant

1. Prepare and analyze daily and monthly production costs and review cost variances.

2. Create and update standard costs for each product based on the Bill of Materials (BOM) and production flowsheets.

3. Review production orders and reconcile issued quantities with actual quantities (material reconciliation).

4. Monitor raw material, labor, and manufacturing costs and analyze their impact on unit cost.

5. Prepare monthly variance analysis reports and submit them to the finance department.

6. Participate in budgeting and link it to actual production costs.

7. Review and monitor inventory in collaboration with the warehouse management to ensure accurate valuation.

8. Support management’s pricing decisions and profit margin analysis.

9. Coordinate with the purchasing and production departments to ensure operations adhere to correct standard costs.

10. Assist in developing cost ERP (DoubleClick) reports and integrating them with the financial system. ???? Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting major (CMA certification or additional cost accounting studies preferred).

Minimum 5-8 years of practical experience in cost accounting within manufacturing plants.

Experience in the same industrial sector (electrical wiring harnesses or similar assembly industries) is preferred.
