The incumbent is responsible for crafting persuasive and engaging copy for diverse platforms, including websites, social media, advertisements, email campaigns, blogs, product descriptions, and printed materials. This encompasses the development of creative taglines, slogans, and messaging consistent with established brand voice and strategic objectives. Furthermore, the role requires collaboration with creative teams to conceptualize innovative marketing campaigns, ensuring all content adheres to brand guidelines and resonates with the intended audience. Responsibilities also include meticulous review and refinement of copy to guarantee high-quality, error-free execution, tonal consistency, and adherence to grammatical standards. The incumbent will optimize content for readability, clarity, and engagement across various platforms, working closely with marketing teams, designers, and other relevant stakeholders to develop cohesive marketing materials. Participation in team meetings and contribution of ideas to improve content strategies are also expected.
Skills:
- Proven work experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter or similar role
- Portfolio of published articles
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces
- Time-management skills
- Familiarity with SEO
- BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or relevant field
