Consultant General Surgeon

We are currently seeking a highly qualified General Surgeon to join our medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a broad spectrum of surgical procedures within our healthcare facilities, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and clinical excellence.A General Surgeon’s responsibilities include educating patients on their surgical options, preparing patients for surgery and leading surgeries as needed. Ultimately, you will work with a team of medical professionals overseeing the medical and surgical care of patientsResponsibilities:Evaluate and advise patients on the risk involved with having surgeryPerform surgical procedures to prevent or correct injury, disease, deformities and patient function while adhering to regulatory and ethical protocolsFollow established surgical techniques during surgeryPrescribe preoperative and postoperative treatment and proceduresEnsure sterility in the operating room, and all equipment and instrumentsDirect and coordinate activities of hospital staff for proper patient careOversee all treatment prior to and post-surgery, and identify associated risksPlan and execute disease/illness prevention and health promotion programsRequirements and skills :Bachelors in medicine and Specialization degree in General SurgeryProven work experience as a General Surgeon minimum 4years.Fantastic manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination and visuospatial awarenessSuperb organisational and time management skillsExcellent decision-making skills and communicationAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentEmotionally resilient with the ability to make patients feel at ease
