**Purpose:**

The Project Manager, Contract Logistics, is responsible for the leadership, planning, design, and execution of major construction and expansion projects within Aramex’s global logistics network. This role encompasses the design and construction of new warehousing facilities, facility expansions, racking systems, multi-tier shelving systems, and automation systems, ensuring adherence to operational requirements, safety protocols, and budgetary constraints. The successful candidate will possess extensive project leadership experience, a civil engineering background, and the capacity to align large-scale capital projects with Aramex’s long-term logistics strategy.

**Responsibilities:**

* **Project Leadership:** Direct and oversee end-to-end construction projects, encompassing new facility construction, warehouse expansions, installation of multi-tier shelving systems, and the design of racking systems. Supervise large Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) projects from initial feasibility studies through execution, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
* **Planning and Design:** Develop comprehensive project frameworks, charters, budgets, and schedules. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to maintain design and construction excellence. Integrate logistical operational requirements into facility design, including optimizing racking layouts and workflow processes.
* **Execution and Governance:** Manage multiple concurrent projects across various geographical locations within established timelines and budgetary parameters. Monitor project dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies, escalating issues to senior management as required. Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and standards. Prepare and submit periodic progress reports to senior management.
* **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Liaise closely with logistics operations, facilities management (FM), HSE, Project Management Office (PMO), and Finance departments to align technical solutions with operational needs. Drive change management initiatives and facilitate engagement with relevant stakeholders.
* **Performance and Continuous Improvement:** Monitor and report on benefits realization, project return on investment (ROI), and overall business impact.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
* A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in construction project management, preferably within logistics, warehousing, or industrial facility environments.
* Demonstrated success in leading large-scale construction and expansion projects, including racking system and mezzanine design.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is required.
* Strong financial acumen, including the ability to manage multimillion-dollar CAPEX budgets effectively.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Jira, Asana) and the MS Office Suite.
* Ability to manage multiple high-impact projects in fast-paced, global environments.
