Job Description:**The incumbent is responsible for the comprehensive management and supervision of the construction process, from conceptual development through final execution, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in full compliance with client requirements, technical standards, and safety regulations. This encompasses the following key responsibilities:**

* Organizing and directing personnel and activities related to the construction and maintenance of structures.
* Managing and supervising construction staff and workers in the performance of assigned tasks.
* Conducting periodic performance appraisals for direct reports and other staff members, in coordination with the Human Resources department.
* Monitoring the hiring and termination of construction workers, determining appropriate compensation ranges in collaboration with the Project Manager and Project Financial Manager.
* Reviewing technical specifications to determine appropriate construction methodologies.
* Ensuring the timely delivery of required materials and equipment resources.
* Ensuring the efficient and cost-effective utilization of construction resources.
* Coordinating with all relevant departments (Scheduling, Technical Office, Quality Control, and Safety) to establish effective work procedures throughout the construction process.
* Following up with the Planning Department and subcontractors’ schedules to identify and resolve any related issues within the project master schedule.
* Establishing and managing the availability of all necessary resources (equipment, manpower, and materials) to meet project deadlines and budgetary constraints.
* Ensuring that work under their purview is determined and executed effectively and efficiently in accordance with the tender study.
* Overseeing the selection of trade subcontractors and general contractors suitable for project completion.
* Monitoring subcontractor performance, fostering their development, and resolving any related problems.
* Collaborating with the Technical Office to optimize execution strategies and address any technical issues identified in shop drawings.
* Negotiating and reviewing subcontractor modification requests, escalating them to the Project Manager for approval.
* Determining and implementing necessary actions to address delays, inclement weather, or emergencies at the construction site.
* Evaluating construction methods and determining cost-effectiveness by redesigning processes and obtaining Project Manager approval.
* Leading and guiding the construction team with respect to health, safety, and environmental considerations; performance quality; methodologies and procedures; productivity; costs; time management; and resource utilization.
* Coordinating with the Project Control Manager to establish and maintain an effective project schedule based on construction activities, and updating it regularly to track progress and take necessary corrective actions.
* Collaborating with the Quality Control Manager to develop a Project Quality Plan and implement site inspections/testing according to construction activities and timelines.
* Coordinating with the Safety Manager to establish a project safety plan aligned with construction activities and schedule.
* Attending consultant and client meetings to identify requirements, address obstacles, and evaluate effective alternative business solutions.
* Coordinating with the Technical Office Manager in the preparation of client and subcontractor invoices based on contract conditions.
* Ensuring that construction work is completed on schedule and within budget, adhering to quality and safety standards.
