Job Description:**Subject: Culinary Associate Position at The Ritz-Carlton Dubai International Financial Centre**

The Ritz-Carlton Dubai International Financial Centre is seeking a dedicated Culinary Associate to join our Food and Beverage & Culinary team. This is a full-time, non-management position located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

**Responsibilities:**

The Culinary Associate is responsible for the meticulous preparation of food items, adhering to established recipes, quality standards, presentation guidelines, and food preparation checklists. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food items in accordance with established procedures.
* Washing and peeling fresh produce.
* Accurately weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
* Operating kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
* Monitoring food quality throughout the preparation process.
* Ensuring proper food temperatures are maintained.
* Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, including washing and disinfecting kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
* Setting up and breaking down work stations.
* Serving food in appropriate portions using designated receptacles.
* Adhering to all company and safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
* Completing required safety training and certifications.
* Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
* Protecting company assets and maintaining the confidentiality of proprietary information.
* Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
* Contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
* Ensuring adherence to established quality expectations and standards.
* Performing physical tasks, including standing, sitting, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, and carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
* Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors.

**Qualifications:**

* High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
* A minimum of one year of related work experience in a culinary environment is preferred.
