What You’ll Be Doing:
- Work for various projects, which affects the exact duties they take on. Based on job listings we analyzed, a commercial manager’s responsibilities typically involve:
- Build relationships with projects stakeholders to establish new contracts. Also develop strong relationships with different departments within his organization to ensure everyone is working toward the same targets and goals.
- Developing strategic plans to encourage projects success.
- Use analytics to create action plans based on data and statistics and interpret results against targets.
- Develop projects risk assessments and cost structures to work toward commercial efforts. Financial planning and budgeting is an essential aspect of this job.
- Responsible for overseeing staff, suppliers, and contractors to ensure that deadlines are met. If issues arise with contractors, commercial managers work with them to resolve the problem as quickly as possible not to affect the schedule.
- Make sure stakeholders adhere to and understand contractual obligations and determine when processes violate regulations. They assess risks and make recommendations based on analysis of all factors affecting a business situation.
Skills
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field is required.
- Certifications in Commercial Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Contract Management, and Procurement is preferable.
- Minimum 12 years of years of experience with minimum 5 years in similar role
- Experience in building project
- Previous experience in Abu Dhabi is a Must
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic is preferred
