Job Description:**Job Description: Commercial Director**
The Commercial Director is responsible for leading, coaching, developing, recruiting, and retaining high-potential talent within the commercial team. This individual will manage team performance, develop commercial team members through agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and operate effectively within a 4D organizational structure.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Assume direct accountability for achieving top-line budget and forecast targets by developing and executing a comprehensive commercial strategy and business plan, utilizing the Hilton Commercial Focus process and available business intelligence tools.
* Deliver budgeted revenues across all revenue streams, including but not limited to Rooms, Group Conference & Events (GC&E), Food & Beverage (F&B), Leisure, and Spa, while controlling cost of sale, route to market, channel shift, and maximizing marketing and e-commerce opportunities.
* Collaborate with the General Manager, Finance Director, and Operations Director to optimize profitability in accordance with Total Gross Operating Profit (TGOP) and Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) targets.
* Ensure the implementation of Business Review Guidelines (current to +5 years) and comprehensive Pricing & Rate Quotation Strategies to maximize pricing opportunities for sales and catering, and to achieve positive group market share.
* Support on-property, Regional Director of Sales (RDOS), and area marketing teams in the coordination of hotel-level marketing, sales, and public relations activities.
* Liaise with regional support and brand teams to maximize benefits for hotel performance.
* Support the Cluster Revenue Managers/On-Property Revenue Manager and Revenue Management Consolidated Center (RMCC) in establishing an optimal business mix, reviewing and validating forecasts, developing strategies for varying demand periods, and approving retail and group pricing strategies.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including owners, hotel teams, and Hilton matrix support teams, to ensure commercial benefits for the hotel.
* Liaise with the Vice President of Operations and present commercial strategies to the regional team and key stakeholders.
* Consistently adhere to Hilton brand standards and corporate identity, utilizing all communication tools under the guidance of regional marketing and Brand Performance Support (BPS).
* Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly in response to evolving market conditions.
* Actively participate in the leadership activities of the Hotel and Region.
**Required Qualifications:**
* A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a revenue-generating or commercial services role within the hospitality/travel industry.
* A minimum of three (3) years of experience presenting sales plans and presentations to senior-level executives and constituent groups.
* A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a collaborative/matrixed environment.
* A minimum of three (3) years of experience working with departmental financial data to make strategic/tactical decisions.
* A minimum of three (3) years of experience evaluating and identifying business opportunities.
* A minimum of three (3) years of experience managing a sales or commercial team.
* Fluency in English.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Three (3) or more years of experience in a multi-complex hotel/travel industry environment.
* Experience in multiple disciplines, including Marketing, E-commerce, and Finance.
* Proficiency in the local language is highly desirable.
