Cloud Design Principal Expert

Job PurposeThe role holder is responsible for executing the design and transformation of mobile core and telco cloud infrastructure to support voice, data, VAS, and control services. This position exists to ensure the effective expansion, modernization, and performance management for mobile core & telco cloud services, while translating deployment plans into specific design activities and supporting the evolution of network architecture and technology strategy. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedureJob Responsibility Lead designing future and existing mobile core and telco cloud infrastructure to host voice, data, VAS and core control services Ensure expediting the transformation, modernization and migrations of mobile core & telco cloud services in line to the emerging technologies and industry evolution Manage the capacity and performance related expansions for the various components of mobile core & telco cloud infrastructure and services Lead translation of core and telco cloud infrastructure deployment plan to specific design activities Prepare and evaluate ,RFX,RFIs, RFPs and RFQs for mobile core and telco cloud infrastructure and services, according to the yearly business demands Develop and revise core & telco cloud infrastructure dimensioning and solutions design, verify and approve related Method of Procedure (MOPs) expanding core & telco cloud infrastructure to cater Data, Voice, VAS, and Control services requirements based on annual growth and business objectives Ensure supporting network architecture evolution and technology strategy roadmap Develop required Technical capabilities to support 5G standalone core, network slicing, private networks and edge use cases Manage design activities for Core infrastructure domains including 5G Core, EPC, IMS, UDC, DRA/DEA/STP/ISTP, MSC/MGW, IPX, Wifi Core, DPI, LBS, VAS services and consolidation platform Conduct Design business continuity, multi-level resilience and disaster recovery plans for Core & Cloud infrastructure and services, meeting Business Continuity and Risk Management requirements Manage design activities for telco cloud including Infrastructure, Hypervisor, VIM, CISM, VNFMs, CNFMs, NFVO, DC SDN, WAN solutions, load balancers, network cards, along with various management and automation tools Job Responsibility (cont.)Conduct POCs and make proposals on emerging cloud and core infrastructure technologies Ensure validating technical solutions from vendors and ensure the use of the latest technologies and functional capabilities in compliance with CST regulations Maintain and approve Technical Specifications documentation including HLD,LLD, Integration Specs and Solution Documents Ensure efficient engagement with cybersecurity and data protection for incorporating the relevant security requirements and guidelines into core & telco cloud infrastructure and services design Ensure design of API integrations required to integrate new VNFs/CNFs across northbound and southbound interfaces Lead release schedule development and management to guarantee smooth and efficient LCM Ensure all required test cases are prepared with VNF/CNF Design teams, and proactive VNFs/CNFs on-boarding testing and certification Supervise and lead cloud design domain activities across GDs the planning, design, and implementation of business continuity, disaster recovery, resiliency plans from Infrastructure perspectives to meet risk management requirements Develop E2E Cloud design for new services Supervise E2E Cloud architecture to identify service performance and required design changes Ensure service design principles are implemented E2E Ensure acquisition of Cloud assets is aligned with strategy Manage organizing inventory, including creating and reviewing MIC, creating and maintaining location code, RFC registration, managing change orders, changing review and closure, and classifying critical AssetsYears Of ExperienceA minimum of 8 yearsNature Of ExperiencePrior experience in designing the mobile core and telco cloud within the Telecommunication industryJob BandSTP- Similar Director ManagerSkillsEducationBachelor Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or ElectronicsAdditional EducationCertifications
