**Objective:**

To uphold the structural integrity, safety, and operational effectiveness of buildings and infrastructure through systematic inspections, proactive maintenance, and the execution of necessary repairs to civil and structural systems, encompassing carpentry, ceilings, flooring, walls, painting, and basic plumbing and electrical tasks, in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.

**Environment:**

* **Internal:** Collaboration with medical staff and the operations team.
* **External:** Liaison with facility service providers.

**Responsibilities:**

* Conduct routine inspections of building foundations, walls, roofs, flooring, ceilings, and other structural components to identify damage, wear, or potential safety hazards.
* Execute corrective and preventive maintenance on civil and structural elements, including walls, tiles, doors, windows, and fixtures.
* Maintain plumbing systems (e.g., sinks, drains, water supply lines) to prevent leaks and ensure optimal functionality.
* Address urgent structural issues, such as leaks or cracks, in a timely manner to minimize operational disruptions.
* Repair or replace damaged flooring, walls, ceilings, and fixtures in designated areas to maintain established facility standards.
* Perform painting tasks on ceilings, walls, and other surfaces as part of regular maintenance and refurbishment efforts.
* Inspect and maintain exterior areas, including parking lots, walkways, ramps, and railings, to ensure safety, functionality, and accessibility.
* Provide support for minor electrical repairs (e.g., replacing bulbs, switches, and sockets) as required to maintain facility functionality.
* Coordinate with external service providers and contractors for specialized civil works, ensuring adherence to safety and quality regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs performed on facility infrastructure.
* Adhere to all applicable health, safety, and environmental standards during maintenance and repair activities.

**Qualifications:**

* **Education:** High school diploma/certificate or equivalent.
* **Experience:** Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in civil maintenance, construction, and facility repair work.
* **Skills:**
* Proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general building maintenance.
* Familiarity with maintenance management systems/mobile applications or tablets for field inspections and reporting.
* Proficient in the use of hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws).
* Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
* Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Effective communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating maintenance activities.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
* Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in building maintenance and repairs.
* Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Willingness to respond to emergencies and work flexible hours, as required.
* Basic computer skills for completing reports and utilizing maintenance management systems.
* **Language:** Fluency in Arabic.
