Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil/Structural Manager to lead our team of engineers and oversee all civil and structural engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil and structural engineering, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of engineers and designers to ensure project deadlines and goals are met
- Oversee the design and construction of civil and structural engineering projects, including buildings, bridges, roads, and other infrastructure projects
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with codes and regulations
- Coordinate with other departments and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to staff and project teams
- Prepare and review engineering reports, drawings, and specifications
- Mentor and train junior staff members to develop their skills and knowledge
Skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Master’s degree preferred
- Professional Engineering (PE) license required
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with at least 3 years in a management role
- Extensive knowledge of industry codes and standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with project management software and other relevant tools
