Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs.
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required materials.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for tender pricing.
- Conduct site visits and evaluations to assess project requirements and potential cost factors.
- Utilize specialized software and tools to assist in the estimation process and ensure accuracy.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market prices, and regulatory requirements to inform pricing decisions.
- Prepare and submit tender documents in accordance with project deadlines and specifications.
- Participate in negotiations with clients and subcontractors to finalize pricing agreements.

Skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in quantity surveying or tender pricing within construction companies, specifically in Kuwait.
- In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation techniques.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for quantity surveying and cost estimation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Kuwaiti regulations and standards related to construction pricing and tendering processes.
