Job Description:

Verifying the doctors’ orders.
Checking the validity of the intravenous admixtures.
Labeling the final compounded products with full instructions including the beyond use date and Checking the compatibilities of the requested medications.
Insuring the medications safety till the delivery to the patients.
Monitoring the intravenous medications administration process.
Verifying the pediatric patient’s medications dosing according to the guidelines.
Using online resources and guidelines during the daily work flow
Updating the intravenous medications data base in accordance with the international databases.
Checking the patient lab result on daily basis
Reviewing the patient fluid balance
Calculating the patient caloric needs based on the anthropometric data, stress factors and activity factors.
Adjusting the patient electrolytes’ needs on daily basis.
Monitoring the patient progress till shifting to enteral or oral routes.
