**About The Team**

The successful candidate will join a highly motivated team dedicated to establishing Careem Food as a market leader, adhering to the core values of ownership, ambitious goals, and dedicated service to customers, partners, colleagues, and Captains in Abu Dhabi.

**About The Role**

The City Head will assume complete responsibility for expanding the food delivery business in Abu Dhabi. This entails assembling a skilled team, formulating growth strategies, and overseeing daily operations effectively. The City Head will be accountable for the satisfaction of all key stakeholders, including customers, restaurant partners, and Captains, ensuring a positive experience for each.

**Responsibilities**

* Define the strategic direction and value proposition for Careem Food in Abu Dhabi.
* Translate the strategic vision into a clear and actionable business plan that drives significant market share growth.
* Oversee the daily operations of Careem Food in Abu Dhabi and manage the growth and scaling of the business within the city.
* Recruit, train, and manage a team of Sales and Account Managers to drive revenue and exceed targets.
* Provide mentorship, support, and development to the team, monitoring their progress and conducting regular performance evaluations.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners.
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of partner needs and requirements and formulate customized solutions.
* Negotiate contracts with key partners and devise solutions that support their long-term objectives.
* Act as a key member of the UAE food leadership team, contributing to the overall direction and growth of the business.
* Foster collaboration among various teams.

**Qualifications**

* Demonstrated understanding of the food delivery / food tech / quick commerce industry, including opportunities for innovation and creative solutions (commercial and technologically driven).
* In-depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi.
* The role requires the ability to spend time in the field.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as the City Head will represent Careem in Abu Dhabi and be an integral part of the leadership team.
* Strong customer relationship management skills, with the ability to establish and maintain profitable and successful working relationships.
* Highly goal-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
