Job Description

We are seeking a young highly skilled Software Development Director with a storied history in Ecommerce.

You are tasked with making executive technology decisions on behalf of the company, including managing a technology budget and making investments to align Wicks for its technological needs. You should be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator and an expert in technological development.

You will work directly under the CEO and will act as both a technology and business expert, making decisions that will impact the current and future operations of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the company.
  • Works with Executive Management to grow Wicks through technological resources.
  • Develop technical aspects of Wick’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals.
  • Meet and deal up with top tech firms, investors and experts.
  • Making executive decisions on behalf of the company’s tech requirements.
  • Building and managing tech teams.
  • Managing technology budgets and deadlines.
  • Ability to stay on top of technology trends and developments.
  • Proficient in software testing principles and methods.
  • Troubleshoot and debug.

Job Requirements

  • Proven mobile app development – experience in both iOS/Android.
  • Knowledge of AR technology.
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
  • Passion for the company’s vision.
  • Self Starter and do whatever it takes mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Staying on top of technology trends and developments.
  • Business skills – financial analysis (sales analysis and pricing analysis).
  • Organization skills – planning/time management
