Job Description:The individual provides comprehensive support to Consultant Radiologists in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing roentgen rays and other forms of radiation, including MRI. Responsibilities encompass assisting during procedures involving radiation emission, operating MRI equipment, and supporting examinations and treatments with a diverse range of agents and techniques, while adhering to rigorous quality and safety standards. Furthermore, the individual delivers timely radiographic services to inpatients, processes films promptly for physician evaluation, participates in Total Quality Management programs, contributes to continuing education initiatives, adheres to work and on-call schedules, ensures seamless shift transitions, responds to hospital emergencies, attends meetings, performs duties to ensure departmental efficiency, assists in divisional operations planning and management, prioritizes services based on patient needs and resources, and maintains compliance with Quality, Infection Prevention and Control standards, hospital policies, and directives from the Head of Department.
Skills:
- Holds Bachelor Degree of Applied Science or have a Diploma from Technical institution or equivalent
- 8-10 years minimum as Technologist at reputable organization or healthcare facility.
- With broad knowledge x-ray/radiology theories and practices in a healthcare facility. Expertise in good dealing with patients and colleagues.
- Must have integrity, initiative, evidence of good health and grooming, good moral character and right conduct, strong and pleasing personality.
- Full Experience Concerning the rules, Laws and different Procedures of radiation Protection.
