Job Description:
- Assist Consultant Radiologist using of roentgen rays and other forms of radiation in the diagnosis and treatment procedures
- Assist Consultant during procedure (disintegration with the emission of corpuscular or electro-magnetic radiation)
- Assist MRI Consultant in the operation of MRI machine
- Assist the consultant during examinations and treatments procedures with full range of agents, methods, and techniques, observing quality and safety standards
- Provide x-ray services according to doctor’s order to inpatients to assist the treating doctor in appropriate diagnoses according to the radiological investigation result
- Process films without delay for doctor to evaluate patient’s condition and suitability prior to any invasive procedure
- Participate in the T.Q.M. programs in collaboration with Quality Department
- Share in the continuing education, training, and demonstration by sharing new procedures and techniques to colleagues, nurses, and technicians assigned within the department in collaboration with Academic Affairs and Research Center
- Attend to work and on-call schedules on time and performs duties completely before ending the shift
- Endorse to the next shift any uncompleted task to be continued and/or completed
- Response to emergencies in the hospital without delay during on-call duty
- Attend to scheduled or unscheduled meetings to discuss and resolve problems
- Perform other duties necessary to effect efficient services in the department without hesitation
- Assist in planning and managing divisional operations, schedule, safety, staff engagement, and establishing guidelines for quality control of equipment and procedures
- Prioritize services rendered based on types of procedures, patient conditions and staff/equipment available
- Comply with Quality and IPC standards
- Comply with Hospital policies and bylaws
- Perform any duty assigned form Head of Department
Skills:
- Holds Bachelor Degree of Applied Science or have a Diploma from Technical institution or equivalent
- 8-10 years minimum as Technologist at reputable organization or healthcare facility.
- With broad knowledge x-ray/radiology theories and practices in a healthcare facility. Expertise in good dealing with patients and colleagues.
- Must have integrity, initiative, evidence of good health and grooming, good moral character and right conduct, strong and pleasing personality.
- Full Experience Concerning the rules, Laws and different Procedures of radiation Protection.
