**Job Description: Chief Commercial Officer**

The organization seeks an accomplished and commercially astute Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to spearhead the commercial strategy and effect substantial revenue enhancement. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CCO will assume responsibility for all commercial activities, encompassing sales, marketing, business development, and customer relationship management. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a demonstrable history of achievement within the real estate or construction industries, possessing the capacity to discern novel market opportunities, optimize commercial operations, and cultivate high-performing teams.

**Responsibilities:**

* **Commercial Strategy and Growth:** Formulate and implement comprehensive commercial strategies, aligned with organizational objectives, to expedite growth, broaden market share, and attain aggressive revenue targets. This includes the execution of rigorous market research and analysis to identify prospective opportunities and inform strategic decision-making processes.
* **Sales and Marketing Leadership:** Direct and optimize sales and marketing functions, including the development and management of budgets, sales strategies across key market segments, and customer acquisition initiatives. Ensure effective oversight of marketing outcomes and alignment of digital and trade marketing campaigns with overarching commercial objectives.
* **Business Development and Partnerships:** Establish and cultivate strategic alliances with investors, clients, and key stakeholders to promote sustained collaboration and unlock new avenues for business expansion. Enhance the commercialization infrastructure to improve the market uptake of the company’s solutions.
* **Product and Service Innovation:** Direct Category Directors in the advancement of product development, market-specific portfolio adjustments, and innovation. Oversee the effective launch, positioning, pricing, and promotion of new products and services tailored to meet customer requirements and regional preferences.
* **Operational Oversight and Financial Performance:** Maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive environment and industry trends. Supervise company operations in accordance with strategic plans, analyze financial and non-financial reports to evaluate business performance, and monitor/assess operational and financial risks. Collaborate with the finance department to refine cost structures and improve revenue margins.
* **Team Leadership and Development:** Lead, motivate, and mentor diverse commercial teams (e.g., marketing, sales, customer service, collections, legal affairs), fostering a high-performance culture characterized by excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure effective CRM initiatives to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Skills:

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in senior commercial leadership roles within the real estate, consulting, or construction industries, with a demonstrable track record of driving revenue growth, market expansion, and successful commercialization initiatives.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing, cross-functional teams. Experience in managing diverse departments and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Strategic & Analytical Acumen: Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market trends, assess risks, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Business & Financial Acumen: Excellent business acumen with a deep understanding of commercial operations, financial management, budgeting, and investment decisions.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Results-Oriented & Client-Centric: Highly results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding targets, coupled with a client-centric approach to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
