Job Description:
- Oversee and direct all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company objectives.
- Lead the preparation and presentation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS or GAAP.
- Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership, supporting business planning and decision-making.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with all local, regional, and international tax regulations.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to maintain the company’s financial integrity and competitiveness.
