Job Description:
• Supervise and lead the accounting team in day-to-day operations (GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, etc.).
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure timely filing of taxes and other statutory requirements.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting entries.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
• Liaise with external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, tax advisors, banks).
• Implement and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Train and develop junior accounting staff.
Skills:
• Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus).
• Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years of accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or senior role.
• Industry Background Experience specifically in Carbonated Soft Drinks or FMCG in general.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (IFRS).
• Proficient in ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Familiarity with tax laws and statutory compliance in Egypt (or relevant country).
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Good communication skills (Arabic and English).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
