Job Description
- Identifying the category local needs.
- Applying the category management system (Per shop)
- Researching, selecting and purchasing quality products in line with retail positioning.
- Focusing on selecting new brands and new models
- Focusing on selecting exclusive models (locally or international purchasing)
- Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, quantities and delivery timescales.
- Processing requisitions and updating management on the status of orders.
- Managing stock levels
- Working with marketing team to ensure best communication material for its category.
- Understanding the target market and analyzing latest trends.
- Preparing weekly reports (sales vs targets vs stock level) with key tactical suggestions
- Monitoring the sales by Shop / by sub category and ensuring the sales per sqm is within the range set by retail management.
Skills
- Local market expertise
- Electronics industry is a must (experience in accessories, Mobiles, Audio video systems, gaming, etc)
- Very Good Excel expertise
- Analytical skills
- Creative mindset
- Proficiency in English and Arabic languages.
