Cashier | B&Q | King Abdullah Store
ROLE PURPOSE:
The job holder is responsible to deliver a great customer experience by managing the check out, customer service refund and exchange process.
KEY ROLE SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Actively approach your customers, engaging with them naturally
- Understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Work with colleagues across the store to help and support them, sharing knowledge in your area of expertise to drive sales
- Turn negative customer situations into positive outcomes
- Ensure all types of customer communications are dealt with professionally
- Encourage customer feedback, share it with managers and use it to improve service
- Provides efficient service at the cash wrap, maintains cash wrap cleanliness and captures customer information in the database
- Ensuring all documentation is complete as per company procedures for all finance/ cash/ credit/ inter and intra company deals
- Facilitate group internal audit review of store operations and ensure the implementation of audit recommendations
- Adhere to all policies & procedures relevant to your role
- You may be required to undertake other duties from time to time as we may reasonably require
Skills
Minimum Experience, Education and Knowledge: High School Graduate , 1 year experience in a similar role
Job-Specific/Technical Skills required to complete the tasks: Strong Attention to details and high computer literacy
Behavioural Competencies: Ability to demonstrate teamwork and problem solving skills as well as good communication and sales skills.
