Job Description:**Subject: Expression of Interest – CAD Technician, Airport Infrastructure**

We are currently seeking a CAD Technician to support our civil engineering teams in the design, planning, and maintenance of airport facilities, including runways, taxiways, aprons, and terminals. This role encompasses the preparation of CAD drawings, execution of site inspections, and the assurance of adherence to aviation and safety regulations, thereby contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality airport infrastructure projects.
**Responsibilities:**
* Prepare and maintain CAD drawings and technical layouts for airport civil works projects.
* Assist in the design and planning of pavement systems, drainage infrastructure, and airfield facilities.
* Conduct site surveys, inspections, and material quality control checks.
* Provide support to engineers in quantity surveying, cost estimation, and project documentation.
* Liaise with contractors, consultants, and airport authorities to ensure compliance and adherence to safety protocols.
**Qualifications:**
* Diploma or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Technology, or a related field.
* Five (5) to eight (8) years of relevant experience in airport or civil infrastructure projects.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
* Demonstrated knowledge of ICAO and applicable local aviation standards (GACA).
* Familiarity with surveying methodologies, materials testing procedures, and construction quality standards.
**Skills and Knowledge:**
* Superior drafting and design skills pertaining to airport and civil works.
* Comprehensive understanding of airfield construction methodologies, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
* Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with robust documentation and communication abilities.
* Proven ability to function effectively within a team environment; prior experience in live airport environments is preferred.
* Awareness of sustainability principles and environmental considerations in airport projects.
