**Job Description**

The Business Development Manager will assume a critical leadership position in fostering revenue generation and augmenting the company’s market penetration.

This individual will be charged with the identification, cultivation, and closure of new business ventures, the establishment of robust client relationships, and the contribution to the overarching success of the organization.

**Principal Responsibilities**

* Monitor market dynamics, regulatory amendments, and the competitive landscape to inform strategic business development decisions and enhance market positioning.
* Develop comprehensive business development strategies and go-to-market narratives, ensuring alignment with client requirements and market priorities.
* Identify and assess prospective business opportunities within priority sectors where Ecoryx’s services and digital solutions can yield quantifiable impact.
* Establish and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients, strategic partners, and relevant stakeholders to promote engagement and build trust.
* Formulate and present customized proposals encompassing commercially sound and competitive offerings, ensuring alignment with client objectives and internal margin targets.
* Represent Ecoryx at client engagements, industry conferences, and public forums to elevate visibility, reinforce credibility, and expand ecosystem presence.
* Manage the complete sales cycle, encompassing lead generation, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, contract finalization, and client onboarding.
* Collaborate closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure seamless project commencement, clear expectation management, and efficient execution.
* Conduct post-delivery follow-up activities to facilitate invoicing, ensure client satisfaction, and identify opportunities for continued collaboration and account expansion.
* Maintain accurate and current CRM records, monitor key sales performance indicators, and generate regular reports on business development outcomes.

**Qualifications and Attributes**

* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, coupled with a minimum of seven years of pertinent experience, including at least three years in sustainability, climate change, or environmental advisory roles.
* Demonstrated expertise in decarbonization, ESG, and sustainability, with a proven record in consulting, advisory, or client-facing roles.
* Established commercial acumen and relationship-building capabilities, with the capacity to identify opportunities and stimulate business growth.
* Entrepreneurial and innovative orientation, characterized by a proactive approach to problem-solving, opportunity capitalization, and the development of novel service offerings.
* Proficiency in digital technologies, with experience integrating technology into solutions and contributing to digital transformation initiatives.
* Comprehensive understanding of sustainability trends and regulatory frameworks, both within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia/GCC region and internationally.
* Fluency in English, complemented by exceptional business communication skills; native Arabic proficiency is highly desirable.
* Robust interpersonal and leadership qualities, exemplified by a collaborative approach and a commitment to supporting and developing teams.
* Adaptive communication skills, with the ability to understand client needs and articulate tailored, value-driven solutions.
