**Position: Business Development Manager**
**Summary:**
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, cultivating strategic alliances, and driving revenue growth within the solar energy sector in Kenya. This encompasses managing key stakeholder relationships, expanding the client portfolio, and contributing to the formulation and execution of comprehensive market penetration strategies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
*   Identify and develop viable new business opportunities within the commercial, industrial, and residential solar energy markets.
*   Establish and maintain robust relationships with clients, strategic partners, governmental entities, non-governmental organizations, and other relevant stakeholders.
*   Conduct comprehensive market research to ascertain customer needs, emerging industry trends, and competitive intelligence.
*   Lead the preparation and submission of compelling proposals, bids, and presentations.
*   Collaborate effectively with technical and project management teams to ensure precise translation of client requirements into deliverable solutions.
*   Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for solar energy products and services.
*   Represent the organization professionally at industry events, trade exhibitions, and conferences.
*   Monitor sales pipeline activity, forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure attainment of established targets.
*   Ensure strict adherence to all applicable local regulations, organizational policies, and industry standards.
