The Sales Associate is responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive lead generation, prospect engagement, and effective sales operations.
**Responsibilities:**
* **Lead Generation & Prospecting:** Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify key companies and personnel. Develop and implement strategic networking approaches to cultivate relationships. Maintain awareness of global economic and business trends to facilitate meaningful prospect interactions. Leverage modern sales technologies, including AI-powered platforms, cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels to identify and engage high-value prospects, personalizing outreach to generate new sales opportunities. Create and manage multi-touch point campaigns to generate inbound leads.
* **Sales Process & Prospect Engagement:** Initiate outbound communication with senior professionals to introduce Oxford Economics’ solutions. Qualify and manage inbound leads, ensuring meticulous Salesforce data management. Collaborate internally with marketing, research, and operations teams to support outreach and campaign execution. Arrange and secure initial meetings (virtual and in-person) for senior sales team members and for personal pipeline development. Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of subscription solutions and their value across sectors, demonstrating proficiency in service demonstrations. Develop tailored value propositions and proposals for interested prospects, with support from senior team members, using a consultative approach. Negotiate contracts and finalize business deals to achieve established revenue targets.
* **Sales Operations & Reporting:** Maintain and update the company’s CRM system (Salesforce) with accurate and comprehensive lead, prospect, and activity data to ensure data integrity. Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales activity reports to the manager.
**Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
* Minimum of two years of experience in sales or business development, ideally selling subscription services within the research, consulting, or information services industry.
* Demonstrated interest in economics and current affairs.
* Proactive and energetic approach to prospect outreach, including cold calling.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage confidently with senior professionals.
* Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
* Collaborative team player with adaptability, self-motivation, and a strong desire to learn.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
* Fluency in English is required.
* Proficiency in Arabic is desirable but not essential.
