**Position Overview:**
3am.digital seeks a Business Development Director to strategically guide and execute the organization’s expansion within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s burgeoning entertainment and experiential sector. This role presents a unique opportunity to establish 3am.digital as a leading partner for immersive installations, brand activations, and experiential content within the Kingdom. The incumbent will be responsible for formulating and implementing 3am.digital’s Saudi strategy, cultivating relationships with governmental bodies (e.g., QSAS, PIF portfolio companies), tourism authorities, entertainment developers, museums, and prominent brands.
This position necessitates a consultative approach, focused on collaborating with clients to develop innovative experiences that integrate advanced technology with authentic Saudi narratives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Strategic Market Development:** Define and implement 3am.digital’s market entry and growth strategy within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Establish a robust sales pipeline, targeting a minimum contract value of SAR 15M in the first year. Position 3am.digital as a thought leader through active industry engagement. Monitor Vision 2030 initiatives to identify strategic alignment opportunities.
* **Relationship Cultivation & Sales:** Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across governmental entities, PIF portfolio companies, tourism authorities, and cultural institutions. Develop partnerships with entertainment venues, museums, hotels, and major developers. Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial qualification to contract execution. Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder procurement processes characterized by extended sales cycles (6-18 months). Develop persuasive proposals that effectively communicate 3am.digital’s unique value proposition.
* **Collaboration & Market Intelligence:** Collaborate with creative and technical teams in the United Arab Emirates to develop innovative and feasible solutions. Ensure seamless project transitions with clear client communication. Represent 3am.digital at industry events such as the Saudi Event Show and SEA Expo. Monitor competitor activities and prevailing market trends.
* **Team Development:** Build and mentor a local business development team within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as market presence expands.
**Required Qualifications:**
* A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in business development/sales leadership within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
* Demonstrated success in closing deals valued at SAR 2M or greater.
* Direct experience in experiential marketing, immersive installations, exhibitions, entertainment venues, events production, museums, or design-build projects.
* Proven experience working with Saudi governmental entities, PIF portfolio companies, or major cultural/tourism institutions.
* Experience with projects aligned with Vision 2030 is highly desirable.
**Essential Network & Skills:**
* Established professional network within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s entertainment, tourism, cultural, or hospitality sectors.
* Existing relationships with governmental decision-makers and key industry stakeholders.
* Exceptional communication skills in both Arabic and English (written and verbal).
* Strategic thinking capabilities with the capacity to execute tactical plans.
* Consultative sales approach and cultural intelligence applicable to the Saudi business environment.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and disciplined pipeline management.

**Compensation & Benefits:**
* Base Salary: SAR 35,000 – 40,000 monthly (SAR 420,000 – 480,000 annually)
* Commission Structure: 10% of gross profit on all closed deals (uncapped). Transparent calculation and monthly payouts upon client payment receipt.
