Business Controller Junior

Job Description

Primary objective/General overview:

  • The Business Controller Junior supports the Business Controller & Finance Director in overseeing the
  • business and financial operations of MENA region and shares responsibility for the organization’s economic
  • and financial performance. Support the Business with a focus on commercial planning & controlling
  • activities and reporting activities.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all Planning cycles with a focus on the Top-line including a 3-year plan, 1-plan and all
  • quarterly forecast including coordination of different stakeholders (Commercial, Marketing Team)
  • involving in the process
  • Work on Planning cycle as far as concern Top-line including 3-years plan, 1-plan and all quarterly
  • forecast including modeling, checking, and uploading in systems
  • Prepares the budget, forecast, long-term plan, variance analysis between budget, forecast and
  • actuals
  • Monitoring the managerial P&L data and business performance on a monthly basis, outlining and
  • commenting on main trends and differences vs BDG or PY and identifying possible improving action
  • with focus on the Top-line
  • Participation in the Monthly Business Review flow & updated for Top management & corporate,
  • providing all the Sales data in collaboration with the Sales director
  • Ensure the timely and accurate reporting and controlling of business results by organizing and
  • summarizing controlling reports for all assigned countries, ensuring accurate and insightful business
  • follow up with profitability analysis and variance reports in order to suggest cost efficiency
  • measures and initiate corrective actions
  • Management of the credit notes issued on the period for all the perimeter
  • Perform Discounts analysis and manage Target Bonus accrual for customers at the brand level
  • Provide insights at the request or at own initiative regarding quantitative and qualitative developments
  • by means of periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analyses, based on reporting guidelines
  • Reporting re-design, and optimizing reports to assist Marketing and Commercial teams in tracking
  • actual results
