**Position Summary:**

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Budget Controller to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in financial planning and analysis, demonstrating a proven ability to manage budgets and maintain the financial stability of the organization. The Budget Controller will be responsible for the development and implementation of budgetary plans, monitoring expenditures, and providing financial insights to support executive decision-making.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement comprehensive budgetary plans for the organization, aligning with the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
* Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure adherence to budgetary plans and identify areas for potential enhancement.
* Prepare and present detailed financial reports and analyses to senior management, emphasizing key insights and recommendations.
* Collaborate with department heads to ascertain their budgetary requirements and provide guidance on effective budget management practices.
* Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives to optimize the company’s overall financial performance.
* Monitor cash flow and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
* Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.
* Provide training and guidance to staff on budget management and financial procedures.
* Remain current on industry trends and best practices in budget management to facilitate continuous process improvement and strategic development.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
* A minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in cost control or financial management.
* Demonstrated comprehensive understanding of financial principles and budget management methodologies.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
* Thorough comprehension of accounting principles and budgeting procedures.
* Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
* Meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy.
* Prior experience in the transportation or logistics industry is considered an asset.
