**Role Description: Brand Manager**
The Brand Manager at Guillam Coffee House assumes a pivotal role as the central authority on brand strategy. This individual serves as the definitive voice of the brand, ensuring comprehensive consistency across all locations, while simultaneously managing key projects that contribute to brand cohesion and business expansion. This leadership position entails the oversight of the digital marketing and social media team, providing guidance, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring strict adherence to established brand guidelines across all content. The role requires demonstrable expertise in design and branding, complemented by a robust background in digital marketing and social media, proficient project management and leadership capabilities, and a proven aptitude for cross-functional collaboration.
**Core Responsibilities:**
The Brand Manager’s responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to, the following:
**I. Strategic Brand Management:**
* Implementation of a portfolio strategy, aligning with the overarching brand vision to facilitate sustainable growth.
* Support of profit and loss management, and the development of future business plans, including new product development and exploration of platform opportunities.
* Management of brand positioning to ensure harmony with the global/regional brand strategy, while concurrently preserving a strong and distinctive presence within the market.
* Leadership of a team and the fostering of innovation to effectively address market trends, while maintaining strict compliance with brand guidelines.
**II. Design:**
* Maintenance of brand consistency throughout the lifecycle of all projects.
* Production of high-caliber graphics and designs suitable for diverse marketing channels.
* Development of creative and superior packaging designs that accurately reflect the brand identity and support marketing strategies.
* Design and production of required project deliverables, encompassing branding elements, typography, font creation, logos, presentations, brand books, social media content, and printed materials (labels, miniatures, cards, etc.).
* Design of compelling email layouts and minimalist designs to engage customers and amplify brand visibility, in close collaboration with the digital marketing team.
* Creation of content specifically tailored for various social media platforms, ensuring full adherence to brand guidelines.
* Management of packaging design and creative artwork development.
* Proficient utilization of graphic design software and tools for design creation and modification.
* Proactive review and monitoring of competitor branding and marketing initiatives to establish benchmarks and inform strategic decision-making.
* Creation of design solutions and website designs that deliver a high degree of visual impact.
**III. Multichannel Marketing Strategy:**
* Demonstrable proficiency in digital marketing disciplines, including social media, website management, e-commerce, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), Google Ads, and Google Analytics.
* Solid foundation in social media management, with experience using advertising management platforms, specifically Meta platforms.
* Video editing skills, utilizing the Adobe Suite, for the production of concise and engaging video clips and reels as needed.
* Collaboration with influencers and the operations team for events related to the cafe, ensuring the successful execution of marketing campaigns.
* Meticulous attention to detail in relation to brand guidelines and corporate identity, serving as the designated Brand Guardian.
**IV. Stakeholder Collaboration:**
* Function as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, encompassing global teams, local partners, and external agencies.
* Ensure effective communication and collaboration to drive category success.
Skills:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Graphic Design (Marketing is a plus).
- Minimum 5-7 years of consumer marketing, brand strategy, and/or brand activation experience.
- Proven experience in brand identity and design.
- Ability to manage multi-brand / multi-country portfolios.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
Skills
- Keen eye for design, detail, and aesthetics.
- Excellent graphic design skills (logo/brand identity/social media design/motion knowledge/2D/packaging).
- Exceptional leadership abilities.
- Outstanding communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive background in digital marketing, consumer insights, and market analysis.
- Solid experience in social media, content creation, and ads.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
- Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Creative mindset with a passion for brand building.
- Thorough understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment is a plus.
- Eager to learn and adapt.
